Classicaly Ann

I love it when my mom cleans out her closet...because I get her old clothes! This dress used to belong to her but not any more. I absolutely love the color and the crochet detail around the bodice area. I have been wanting to wear this for a while now. I was waiting for the weather to corporate but mainly I was waiting for the confidence to wear it. It's not that I'm not confident (that's another story for another day) but this is not the "typical college outfit." I wish students here dressed up more and cared more about their appearance. Now don't get me wrong, I do have those days where I wear sweatpants (I wouldn't have been caught dead in them in high school) but not every day. My favorite part of my day is picking out what I will wear. If I have on a great outfit, it will be a great day. That's a good motto to live by!

Purple Paisley

Apparently I like to dress like a librarian. Something about this outfit reminds me of a librarian.

Speaking of librarian, I have been starting to read books lately. Shocker right! I never liked reading as a kid, but I have found a few books recently that I enjoy and I really want to start reading. The book I am currently reading is Live Original by Sadie Robertson. It has been teaching me a lot about faith and how to improve in certain areas of my life. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!

For my outfit, I paired a turtleneck tank top with a high-waisted skirt. I love this skirt because it fits perfectly and has buttons all down the center. My oversized sweater compliments the colors in the tank top very nicely. I recently purchased these mint green sandals from Old Navy and they are really comfortable except the back which rubbed my ankle the whole day.

Casually Laughing

As mentioned in a previous post, I love the show Supergirl! I wore this outfit recently and my sister commented and said it looks like something Kara Danvers would wear (Supergirl's secret identity). Her style is very preppy and sophisticated. I don't know if she would wear this outfit exactly, but I love it.
