If you can't tell by this post I recently went to see the newest Cinderella movie. I have to say this was one of my favorite renditions yet. I love how the characters had British accents, I mean who doesn't? The costumes were magical and magnificent, especially the blue dress with butterflies Cinderella wore to the ball. I also liked the modern take on the glass slipper and I think I need to find some to add to my shoe collection! All the glitter and magic from the fairytale inspired me to create this outfit. I wore a classic black peplum top and paired it with white sparkly shorts. Of course I had to pair it with layered necklaces including this beautiful clock, shoe, and pearl one from Walt Disney World. My shoes are no glass slippers but they are my go to silver sandals that I feel like I wear oh so often!

One outift Two occasions

My Outfit: Dress-Forever 21; Jean Jacket-Thrifted; Earrings-Charming Charlie; Sandals-Target

 

This outfit just screams summer to me! I recently purchased this comfy, striped dress at Forever 21 and I just can't seem to stop wearing it (hence the reason for this post)! I wanted this dress because of the classic stripe print but also because it is similar to the T-shirt dresses that are on trend right now. Forever 21 is a great place to buy on trend items for a cheaper price.

I wore this outfit on a lunch date with a few friends. We went to Starbucks, and I have never tried their lunch before. I had the roasted tomato and cheese panini and it was delicious! It also came with pesto on it, which pretty much sold me because I love pesto! 

The second place I wore this outfit was to a concert! I just love going to concerts in the summer. I went to see MKTO and Nick Jonas. I am obsessed with both of them right now and they were amazing in concert! My favorite MKTO song at the moment is "Wasted" and "Classic" and my favorite Nick Jonas song is of course "Chains." I just can't get enough of that song!

Now Trending: Floral Crowns

Flower crowns were a summer staple last year and they are making a return this year as well. I decided to jump on the bandwagon and purchase one myself (of course you can always make one too)! I love the color choice of Selena Gomez's flower crown as well as Keira Knightley's. However, when I think of floral crowns I think of bohemian style which Vanessa Hudgens completely embodies. But floral crowns don't always have to be bohemian. They can also be sweet and romantic if a pastel colored crown is paired with a white or cream dress. For my look, I wanted the floral crown to be the focal point of my outfit. Therefore, I decided to keep my outfit casual and I paired the crown with a simple t-shirt and denim shorts.
