Tres Chic

My Outfit: Shirt-Kohl's; Shorts-Thrifted; Hat-Thrifted; Shoes-Kohl's

School has been very busy lately, so naturally I dress nice to get me through the day :) Many of you probably know this by now, but one of my favorite ways to put an outfit together is to mix prints. I paired these lace/crochet shorts with a black and white striped shirt that had a cute touch to it with an embroidered Mickey Mouse on the pocket.  To top it off (no pun intended) I added a hat and black sparkly flats!

Hope everyone has a great week!!

Red

My Outfit: Dress-Aeropostale; Shrug-Charlotte Russe; Oxfords-Payless

Well today is the last day of summer and I'm so happy! I love fall/autumn whatever you wish to call it. To salute summer, I wore this outfit which reminds me of something Taylor Swift would wear. I had this red and blue striped dress and I paired it with this white floral shrug that sinches in at the waist. I have had this shrug for years and I absoltely adore it! To polish it off, I added my grey oxfords. I also love the location these pictures were taken at (a parking garage) because I felt like I was soaring through the clouds like I was on top of the world!

I hope everyone had an amazing summer and has an even better fall season!

Now Trending: Nude Eye Makeup

Neutral eye make up is a classic and chic look. When I saw that Maybelline came out with a Blushed Nudes eye makeup pallet, I just had to get my hands on one and let me tell you that was harder than you think! I went to so many stores searching for one! If you want to try out this trend, the pallet was only about $10; a very inexpensive way to change up your everyday make up look!

I used the top right three colors for these pictures.

I placed color number one all over my eyelid and number two by my eyebrow.

I then placed color three in the crease of my eyelid and blended it out.

For the last step, add black eye liner and mascara and you are set!

Mint Accents

My Outfit: Dress-Thrifted; Necklace-Country Living Fair; Socks-Aeropostale; Shoes-Converse

Just a quick post for today! This week has been crazy busy with school and the Fashion Merchandising Association club starting up (which I am President of) and just other social events! I will be glad when it is over, but classes have been really good this week-the first since the semester started :) I can't wait for this weekend when I can see my parents for Parents Weekend! Anyways, my outfit is just a simple blue chambray material. It is very comfortable and I just paired it with my Converse. Of course I had to think outside of the box and I added these mint green crew length socks with lace on the edges and a necklace with my initial from a typewriter with a mint green heart dangling from it!

Hope everyone has an amazing day!

20th Birthday

One week ago today I turned 20. It's scary to think that I have been 20 for a whole week now! I feel so old! For my birthday festivities my mom took me out for breakfast and I had a Pecan Belgian Waffle! So yummy and the staff sang "Happy Birthday" to us which was very sweet of them :) Then I worked and had lunch with another friend. Around dinner time, my sister and three of our best friends went to dinner! I had a delicious sandwich and apple crumb pie for dessert! Then we baked cookies and had a movie night and a sleepover! I wish I could have seen my whole family on my birthday but spending it with friends who are practically family was more than I could have asked for! Thank you to everyone who wished me "Happy Birthday" and I hope this year will be the best one yet!
