Monochromatic Blue

My Outfit: Sweater-H&M; Jeans-Thrifted; Sandals-Target; Necklace-Kohl's

I love the idea of a monochromatic look. It feels so classic and simple at the same time. This sweater from H&M is one of the softest sweaters I own and if feels like I am wearing a blanket! These pants I thrifted for only $2! I love the pin stripe print on them and I had been looking for jeans like these for a while. When I found these, I literately jumped up and down in the store because I was so excited! I paired the sweater and pants with my silver braided sandals and my daisy bohemian necklace for some texture.

Kalifornia Love

Today was one of the best days ever! First off students were handing out free balloons around campus today and I got one! I just love balloons :) They make me so happy. Then in one of my classes, a girl brought in donuts for everyone because it was another girls birthday! The donuts were AMAZING! Donuts are one of my favorite foods so my day was just looking up from there. For my outfit, I wore a red and navy blue striped dress that I wore as a skirt. I layered a cropped sweatshirt on top of the dress. My sweatshirt says "Kalifornia Love" on it and it is so comfy! Then to give me some shape I wore a jean vest on top of the sweatshirt. It is still chilly here (even though it's almost MAY!) so I had to wear tights and then I finished off my outfit with my white converse.

Parisian Chic

This outfit reminds me of Paris, France. Maybe it's the stripes and the pastel colors but it just looks so classic and french. Although I have never been to Paris, I really want to go at some point in my life! Ok now on to the outfit. I wore a navy blue and white stripped top with black jeans. I paired it with a light pink blazer and grey oxford shoes. To accessorize the outfit, I layered two necklaces: one is a light pink cameo and the other is a light pink stone in a bullet shell.

Now Trending: Temporary Tattoos

I have been seeing temporary tattoos all over Instagram and in several stores recently. It might be the Coachella craze, but I love them! The first picture above is Shay Mitchell sporting the trend, along with Bethany Mota in the second, and Tara Michelle in the last picture. I found my tattoos at Walmart and they also had several other packs to choose from. I also saw them at TJ Maxx if any of you want to purchase them. I went for the more bohemian and tribal inspired tattoos, and I love how they turned out. The feather is one that my sister sported and she placed it on the inside of her wrist. My tattoo was a triangle bracelet and I placed it about halfway between my wrist and elbow. I love the metallic colors of these tattoos and think it is a perfect summer staple!

Let me know if you try this trend out!

Spring Green

My Outfit: Hat-PacSun; Sweater-Thrifted; Tank Top-Forever 21; Jeans-Thrifted; Shoes-Converse

This building is so beautiful. It was originally a post office and I love all of the detail in it. My favorite part of the building is the lock and key mailbox slots and all the numbers on them! For my outfit, I wore this black hat with a geographic and kind of bohemian printed band. I really wanted to showcase this hat so I paired it with simple basics: a sweater and tank. I added a pop of color with my mint green jeans and sadly it was raining this day so I wore my black low top Converse.

Now Trending: Man Bun

I used to like the surfer hair on guys but now I have started loving the man bun on them! It is a unique twist on longer hair and I personally think it looks better on a guy than a ponytail. I cannot get enough of Harry Styles (my future husband) and he can definitely pull this look off. Chris Hemsworth and Leonardo DiCaprio can also do no wrong and they look amazing in it as well. But this look isn't just for men, women can pull it off as well! One of my favorite YouTubers, Julia Giaimo, wears this all the time and she rocks it.

Here is how to create the man bun:

First start buy putting the top half of your hair in a ponytail.

Then take the hair in the ponytail and form a bun. It is as simple as that!

Brick Walls

I have so much fun getting my pictures taken! This photo shoot was so awesome to do and I love the brick walls, especially the green one! It is so unexpected but cool at the same time and I thought they went well with my outfit. My green jacket and maroon skirt tied in well with the red and green brick walls. I paired them with a dainty floral printed top, black tights, and my brown combat boots that I can't stop wearing! Hahaha
